One part-time position for a Farm Assistant is open for the 2026 season.
You'll handle plants, dirt, compost, hand tools, wheelbarrows, organic fertilizers and a wide variety of flowers. Every week will be a little different, as the weather, growing conditions and seasonal changes have a direct affect on the work. You'll learn about flower varieties and cultivation, insects, weeds, harvesting practices and cut flower care. Farm/garden experience is preferable but not required. Each shift typically includes routine tasks as well as new opportunities to learn and expand your skills. Starting pay is $18-$20/hour depending on experience.
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis as applications are received. Application deadline is Friday, April 10.
Here’s what a past employee had to say:
A wonderful way to spend the summer outdoors, easy going but also a lot more physical labor than you would expect. It is not all just picking flowers in fluffy unicorn dream world. Be prepared to have dirt under your fingernails for the entire summer and you have to be comfortable being in close proximity to bugs especially spiders and bees.
