Dried Flowers for Weddings
/Relying on locally grown flowers for weddings often requires creativity – especially in the spring and fall, or when designing for certain color palettes or styles. Incorporating dried flowers can make all the difference for adding an extra layer of color, shape, texture or movement.
One of my favorite ways to use dried flowers for weddings is to mix them with fresh flowers. In the spring or fall, it’s a beautiful way to fill out arrangements or add a whimsical or unexpected accent.
On their own, dried flowers are stunning and full of color. Dried flowers are ideal for outdoor weddings because they won’t wilt in the heat or be damaged by the cold. Accessories like dried flower combs and dried flower boutonnieres are lightweight and easy to wear. And dried wedding flowers are easy to preserve! Just keep them out of direct sunlight, remove dust occasionally with a feather duster or hair dryer, and they’ll last for years.
